Step Back to July 2023 where were you? I was visiting the the Bali Hai “Goof” IYKYK.
Bali Hai is not the standard Tiki Bar, but a Tiki Restaurant. We visited for a late lunch and we were surprised with an fairly empty dinning room, I guess we timed it right! The dinning room was large and had many tables and chairs, along with an awesome view of San Diego Bay. At the time of writing this I can’t seem to remember what it was I had to eat, it was likely a hamburger or something just as basic with French Fries (did I capitalize that right?).
Bali Hai is known for selling millions of Mai Tais, but I decided that since everyone has a Mai Tai, I wanted to try something new so I tried the “Mr. Bali Hai”. Apparently the version I tried was not the original it was the “modern” blackberry version. I have no complaints though its not like i have anything to compare it to…
While we had a brief visit I did enjoy my time at Bali Hai!
