After months of waiting and confusion Surf City Tiki Hut has opened! Well it will open January 30th 2026. I was luckily enough to be able to visit during their soft opening.
We arrived early, but not by much due to the location and where we live and the time of day we had about a 40 minute drive. We were seated in a booth near the entrance to the patio. The environment was very nicely decorated and it was clear that thought was put into where and how things were placed.
Once we placed our order I got up and started to investigate, I was excited to see a new Tiki anything in my town (I have soooo many options). I was not disappointed, and I know there was plenty that I missed.
Since we arrived earlier than we usually have dinner we were not very hungry, so we split and app and an entree, both were great! I am looking forward to tasting everything on the menu. I suggest you do the same (especially if you’re having a drink lol)
